I
highly recommend Ted Pietras to anyone seeking
real estate in Boston. During the scouting stage
of my real estate search, his flexibility in scheduling
and willingness to go the extra mile (even picking
me up during my lunch hour to look at properties)
set him apart from any of the other agents I encountered.
As my buyer's agent, his history in and knowledge
of Boston neighborhoods enabled him to be a strong
negotiator for my interests. His responsiveness
was unsurpassed. Homebuying is stressful and in
that state it is easy to become agitated and inattentive
to details. That's when you want someone calm
and on top of things in your corner, and in my
experience you couldn't do better than having
that someone be Ted Pietras.

Ted
Pietras was instrumental in the sucessful sale
of our townhouse and the purchase of my new condo.
As a seller's agent, he did an excellent job of
marketing the property, so that we received an
acceptable offer during a down market. As a buyer's
agent, he gave me invaluable advice about the
South End and the various properties I saw. He
orchestrated all aspects of both real estate deals
with a great deal of knowledge and professionalism,
making a normally stressful experience a very
smooth and easy one. He also went above the call
of duty on several occasions to ensure that issues
were resolved. I highly recommend Ted if you are
buying or selling in the South End.

There's
only one Ted! And thank God for that. Not that
there aren't any others, but that we have him
as a resource and friend. Over the past couple
of decades, lots of brokers have come and gone,
but Ted has stuck with it. In addition to his
sales and rental advice, Ted has brought us several
"extra-curricular activities". Who else
runs seminars on home ownership? And who else
sent us 5 cent stamps when the cost of postage
went up by that amount so we didn't have to make
a special trip to the P.O. in order to use our
current supply of outdated stamps? Thanks, Ted.
On a more personal note, during at least 15 years
of self-employment as an architect or during the
time I was taking on private clients even though
I worked for another firm, Ted sent many of his
real estate clients to me when they were looking
for help from an architect. Perhaps this reason
above all is why I intend to list my place with
Ted when it comes time to sell or rent out as
I head into the sunset of retirement. Keep up
the good work, Ted.

Your
knowledge of market prices, what buyers want,
and hosting a very successful broker open house
were invaluable for selling my condo which you
sold to me 10 years before!

I
worked with Ted numerous times over the past twenty
years and I have found him to be on target with
market valuations and expectations. His commitment
to the real estate process and his years of experience
- as well as his network within the Boston community
- have provided me with exceptional results. Cheers!

Ted
is equal parts informative and entertaining. His
knowledge, dedication and humor helped my wife
and I buy our first condo, and later sell it and
buy our first house.
